The Construction Of A New World

The ground trembled and then shook,
Then gave way down below,
And through it fell the evils of the world,
As prophesied long ago.

The seas rose up, fast and strong,
To claim the ever stretching beach,
And cleansed the world of its sins,
And all the things they leeched.

The winds were brutal yet gentle still,
When typhoons and cyclones raged on,
To blow away the sorrows of today,
Stacked up nicely and beautifully tiered.

The heavens rained down fire and rock,
Vanquishing the evils ones from this world,
So tyranny and dictatorship shall become but dreams,
For goodness and love to unfurl.

The mountains with their mighty groans,
Heaved its load of piled up snow,
To cascade down its steep steep sides,
And away the mean people shall go.

The deserts with their sands of time,
Devour and demolish,
Getting rid of what remains,
Of foulness and its rubbish.
