What brought the fire...

A storm of fire,
Floods through her veins,
Beams fell apart,
Leaving blood stains.

Screams and cries,
Fill the night air,
What's Alice to do?
Their fate, shall she share?

Go Alice,
Run from the fire,
Through the ashes,
Before the flames get higher.

The only survivor,
All of them dead,
No where to go,
Was this all in her head?

Her mind is destroyed,
Wonderland's in ruins,
Couldn't accept their deaths,
The fire couldn't have done them in.

Thats what she kept saying,
Thats all she talked about,
No one believed her,
She was sent to be sorted out.

A decade in a madhouse,
Still did no good,
The asylum was useless,
The hallucinations she withstood.

A doctor so sinister,
None would have guessed,
He tried to hypnotize her,
To forget the rest.

The clues, an ignorant child,
Would have easily missed,
But once an adult,
Was easy to list.

Fragment after fragment,
She pieced on her own,
With the help of her wonderland,
Now a ruthless killzone.

Monsters replaced strange beings,
Cats, flowers and cards,
Now guardians of the realm,
Similar to asylum wards.

After numerous kills,
Each enemy resembled,
A person she'd met,
Both worlds then crumbled.

Liar, fraud, murderer!
That voice in her head did yell,
The doctor was hiding something,
A secret he never did tell.

A grudge so deep,
He couldn't forgive,
He snuck in the mansion that night,
He won't let them live.

He went to the library,
A firetrap waiting to happen,
The flames engulfed all the paper,
It was too late when they awakened.

He killed her sister,
Before the fire,
Died to unknown causes he told them,
That bloody liar!

His final plan,
His last wicked scheme,
Was to erase Alice's memories,
And sell her to bastards that were just as mean.

But that didn't happen,
He didn't expect what was next,
For in the next poem,
You'll know what he finally gets.

Giant Black Scissors

Giant black scissors,
Have you ever thought such thing?
Of how sharp those blades are,
Of how much sorrow they could bring.

One small slip,
Could end it all,
Oh look, can't you see it?
Theres blood on the walls.

What happened here?
Can't you tell?
I think its obvious,
Someone fell.

Blades of steel,
Pierced her dainty neck,
Sprawled on the floor,
Her body's a wreck!

She fell down the stairs,
The poor dear,
In the house by herself,
Now her soul resides here.

The funeral plays,
Gloomy and slow,
They've come to say goodbye,
But her spirit won't go.

She doesn't understand,
Why mommy is crying,
She doesn't understand,
The roses they were buying.

The flowers they left,
Upon the ground,
She stood next to them,
And made a frown.

Why were they leaving?
One at a time,
Were they coming back?
Why were they leaving her behind?

Rest in peace,
Oh young one,
Time to move on,
Look around you,
Everyone's gone.

So take my hand,
And i'll lead you above,
Pay no attention,
To those noisy doves.

They fly in and out,
Of our realm so high,
But they can never say a word,
Because God made them shy.

Spirits have their own secrets,
Humans have theirs,
They'll learn ours someday,
Sometimes in their prayers.

A pirate's love

The blinding sunset in your eyes,
The spray of the sea against your skin,
The sense of freedom in your wings,
The feeling that you finally belong, deep within.

Free from the chains that bind your body,
Free from the words that bind your heart's desire,
Free from the duties that bind your very soul,
Free from the punishments and gun fire.

On the sea, where we take refuge,
Where you can roam to your heart's desire,
Like another worldly experience,
However, we also have consequences that are all so dire.

The dangers are different,
Death comes in strange forms,
Trust no one that's just like you,
Lest be prepared to face the storm.

She is our love, our home and our own,
The sea, the ever-raging tempest,
Untamed and ruthless,
Though others deny it, we agree, that she rules the rest.

The sea giveth life,
Which she can taketh back,
Be on your toes, respect thy majesty,
And maybe you won't end up in the depths so black.

All's fair in love and war

We committed the perfect crime,
I stole your heart, and you stole mine,
What you didn't know,
Was that my heart would be forever thine.

Play with my heartstrings,
Reduce them to ash,
It was my fault to begin with,
For being so rash.

I trusted you then,
Something i shouldn't have done,
Now i pay the price,
The pain of a million guns.

Fury and rage,
Locked inside a regretful heart,
Too much to bear,
Revengeful vendettas are about to start.

What happened to our wounded love,
Now locked in battle at each other's throats,
What happened to our vows that day,
At the bottom of the ruthless sea like sunken boats.

Forgotten and starved,
Still it remained,
Deep down inside,
We can both still feel its pain.
