Depression

The rain falls in sadness and sorrow,
It rains in the town as it rains in my heart,
The wind howls, thunder roars,
The streets are empty, the rain will never stop.

The cold engulfs you,
The shadows gather round,
Your senses start to numb,
As in blood you shall drown.

Your breath starts to quicken,
Cold sweat drips down,
The body begins to tremble,
As your sins rebound.

Your life flashes before you,
All that you've done,
Now that its all over,
Theres nowhere to run.

Your sentence is cruel,
As you have once been,
In this game of life,
One can never win.
