Why should I?

Word for word,
Lie after lie,
Just admit that,
You love to see me die.

You say i am nothing but trouble,
You say i'm but a disturbance,
Careful for what you wish for,
Cause one day, i really might go.

Away from you,
Away from the cage,
Looking back i would say,
'Ah,yes those were the days'

If you treat me like so,
Why should i even spare you a word?
You're definately aren't worth my time,
I'd rather talk to a bird.

At least he has freedom,
So unlike me,
Because unfortunately,
I'm trapped by your stupidity.

No proper answer,
Just a shrewd 'GO AWAY'
Don't act so haughty,
Cause one day, i'll make you pay.

I'll do the same to you,
Then you'll see,
How cruel you truly were,
Of how you treated me.

If you can't talk to me nicely,
Don't expect me to do the same,
I'm just following an example,
You have no one but youself to blame.

My Dear Alice

Trapped in the past,
Amongst all the pain and the tears,
How do you cope?
When you live with your fears?

Wonderland is destroyed,
Along with your memories,
Shattered pieces of ruin,
Still show old enemies.

Your mind is in ruins,
Bitter tears run deep,
Down in your twisted soul,
Does this foul curse creep.

Deeper and deeper,
Right to the core,
Reality fades from sight,
Gone is the weight you bore.

Given up

The soft echo of tears,
Hang in the air,
And keep ringing in my ears,
The aura of despair.

The magnetic hopelessness,
That clings to me,
I try to fight back,
Oh so desperately.

Till it brings you oblivion,
This life shall you endure,
The eternal sleep that awaits,
Is nothing but a lure.

To mislead and misguide,
All those who live,
Tossed into the pits of hell,
Toxic fumes is what you shall breathe.

Depression

The rain falls in sadness and sorrow,
It rains in the town as it rains in my heart,
The wind howls, thunder roars,
The streets are empty, the rain will never stop.

The cold engulfs you,
The shadows gather round,
Your senses start to numb,
As in blood you shall drown.

Your breath starts to quicken,
Cold sweat drips down,
The body begins to tremble,
As your sins rebound.

Your life flashes before you,
All that you've done,
Now that its all over,
Theres nowhere to run.

Your sentence is cruel,
As you have once been,
In this game of life,
One can never win.

Regrets and Confusion

Why is it that we cry for the people we love most...
That we can't acknowledge the fact that they're gone forever...

The thoughts that we delved into...
The memories that they engraved within us...
They seem to resurface,
And resurrect the pain of the moment gone by.

We seem to only see the best in them when its too late,
When they're permanently...and inevitably...erased...

Which is my dream in which I created?
And which is my life in which i'm supposed to live?

The lines are blurred,
Reality is shifting into the unbelievable...

You

The rage I feel,
The sorrow i endured,
Did not exist,
Until you appeared.

A hundred betrayals,
A thousand fake faces,
Millions of lies,
All the same cases.

That innocent face,
Hid all your dark secrets,
Little did you know,
They seeped out in sequence.

Shadow after shadow,
Tear after tear,
After I thought about it,
I had nothing to fear.

You are nothing to me,
Just a pain in the ass,
I was stupid to trust you,
But thats all in the past.

So now you're alone,
And I don't wonder why,
Your posse had left you,
They saw your lies.

In my mind, today,
You do not exist,
Not there to depress me,
Or to assist.

Persephone

The winds carry forth,
The flowers, her own,
A Goddess so wanted,
The beloved Persephone.

Her beauty so radiant, Hades dost see,
Rushing forth with his chariot, grabbing her so accurately,
She ran for her life, in terror she screamed,
Little did she know, she was to be his queen.

But lo and behold, she was brought to hell,
In his domain, was where she would dwell,
To the God of the Underworld, would she become bride,
Meanwhile, in the world above, her garden had died.

Her mother whom found her missing, cried in grief,
She made the trees shed, and left them not a leaf,
She created winter, in her misery,
Until Zeus managed to release her from her matrimony.

Only for half a year,
Was she allowed to roam in her garden,
The rest of it she would spend in the underworld,
Her own Armageddon.
