Giant Black Scissors

Giant black scissors,
Have you ever thought such thing?
Of how sharp those blades are,
Of how much sorrow they could bring.

One small slip,
Could end it all,
Oh look, can't you see it?
Theres blood on the walls.

What happened here?
Can't you tell?
I think its obvious,
Someone fell.

Blades of steel,
Pierced her dainty neck,
Sprawled on the floor,
Her body's a wreck!

She fell down the stairs,
The poor dear,
In the house by herself,
Now her soul resides here.

The funeral plays,
Gloomy and slow,
They've come to say goodbye,
But her spirit won't go.

She doesn't understand,
Why mommy is crying,
She doesn't understand,
The roses they were buying.

The flowers they left,
Upon the ground,
She stood next to them,
And made a frown.

Why were they leaving?
One at a time,
Were they coming back?
Why were they leaving her behind?

Rest in peace,
Oh young one,
Time to move on,
Look around you,
Everyone's gone.

So take my hand,
And i'll lead you above,
Pay no attention,
To those noisy doves.

They fly in and out,
Of our realm so high,
But they can never say a word,
Because God made them shy.

Spirits have their own secrets,
Humans have theirs,
They'll learn ours someday,
Sometimes in their prayers.

A pirate's love

The blinding sunset in your eyes,
The spray of the sea against your skin,
The sense of freedom in your wings,
The feeling that you finally belong, deep within.

Free from the chains that bind your body,
Free from the words that bind your heart's desire,
Free from the duties that bind your very soul,
Free from the punishments and gun fire.

On the sea, where we take refuge,
Where you can roam to your heart's desire,
Like another worldly experience,
However, we also have consequences that are all so dire.

The dangers are different,
Death comes in strange forms,
Trust no one that's just like you,
Lest be prepared to face the storm.

She is our love, our home and our own,
The sea, the ever-raging tempest,
Untamed and ruthless,
Though others deny it, we agree, that she rules the rest.

The sea giveth life,
Which she can taketh back,
Be on your toes, respect thy majesty,
And maybe you won't end up in the depths so black.

All's fair in love and war

We committed the perfect crime,
I stole your heart, and you stole mine,
What you didn't know,
Was that my heart would be forever thine.

Play with my heartstrings,
Reduce them to ash,
It was my fault to begin with,
For being so rash.

I trusted you then,
Something i shouldn't have done,
Now i pay the price,
The pain of a million guns.

Fury and rage,
Locked inside a regretful heart,
Too much to bear,
Revengeful vendettas are about to start.

What happened to our wounded love,
Now locked in battle at each other's throats,
What happened to our vows that day,
At the bottom of the ruthless sea like sunken boats.

Forgotten and starved,
Still it remained,
Deep down inside,
We can both still feel its pain.

Only Human

The sunset hides blistering rage,
Disappearing behind the mourning moon,
Of all that had been and could have been,
Have all been swept away by sand dunes.

Grain by grain,
The sands of time falls,
It manipulates us,
In this world, we are only dolls.

To live our lives,
Day by day,
Never aware,
Of what we say.

The pain we cause others,
The scars we leave,
The justice that calls out,
And the web of vendettas we weave.

In our own destruction,
Do we make our path,
Surely to stop,
Is not too big a task?

To cease and desist,
To see what is right,
To realize truth,
To step into the light.

Have no regrets,
Thats what they say,
Do they honestly believe that,
Every single day?

Practice what you preach,
The common saying goes,
It means nothing,
If in your garden, nothing grows.

Only weeds with thorns,
Full of hatred and sin,
Hidden by a pretty face,
You'll probably end up in the bin.

Trash is what you are,
Useless to all,
You'd probably answer,
Only when the devil calls.

Goodbye

I cringe as the rain,
Touches my face,
Washing away,
That bitter taste.

I told myself,
Once before,
Never again,
But my heart was torn.

It happened again,
So i built up my wall,
This time, to let nothing in,
Not even a call.

A cry of familiarity,
Not even that,
They'll all go someday,
The more my heart would crack.

Broken it is,
In pieces it shall be,
Scattered like stars,
Upon the moonlit sea.

Alone i will be,
Emotionless and safe,
Is this the path I truly choose?
When I have lost all faith?

So goodbye to you,
Goodbye again,
The next time I see you,
Which only God knows when,
You will be happy,
Without me there,
Don't try to deny it,
Though I knew once, that you cared.

I wish you well,
Be on you're way,
There's nothing else,
Which I can say.

The Wind's Farewell

A land of fields,
Where lavender grows,
I laid down slowly,
And let the fragrance flow.

It surrounded me,
All warm and lovely,
While the rays of the sun,
Passed by silently.

The lonely night,
Quickly came after,
Still I laid down,
Amongst the fragrance and laughter.

I heard the spring wind,
It spoke softly to me,
The words I shall never forget,
Engraved in my heart, will it forever be.

Oh My Sadist!

She sat by the shadows,
Under the rain,
No one noticed,
No one knew her pain.

Day after day,
She suffered alone,
From her ghostly pale lips,
She smothered a moan.

Gritting her teeth,
She faced the cold,
She dwelt in the darkness,
She had no where to go.

Just standing there,
For the darkness to take,
She almost stopped breathing,
Her life is at stake.

A few moments left,
Her memories flashed by,
She was dying, no doubt,
Its time to say goodbye.

The twilight in her eyes,
The dawn in his,
She had given up,
While the world was his.

He watched the sun rise,
And bathed in all its glory,
Never had it crossed his mind,
A single thought of misery.

A lifetime of happiness,
Had past them by,
His memories, though, were stolen,
If he knew, he'd rather die.

Lost in time,
In a floating world,
Endless dreams,
Drift and tear at the seams.

They both made a choice,
To die in their own way,
One cloaked in shadows,
The other kept them at bay.

She chose her memories,
And suffered pure pain,
He chose to feel nothing,
And had forgotten his way.

In your opinion,
Which was more tragic?
To live with no meaning?
Or die by candle wick?
